Dansimprovisatie Utrecht wants to build a reputation in dance improvisation as a discipline in performing art.
Dansimprovisatie Utrecht (DIU) is a platform and an initiative by Iris van Peppen, to create awareness and interest in dance improvisation for committed movers. DIU believes that in this current time of change dance is more relevant in our lives than ever.
The platform of DIU organises weekly classes, workshops with (international) guest teachers, exchanges, showings and performances.
Most classes are taught by Iris.
Dansimprovisatie Amsterdam
Because of the rising interest in dance improvisation, DIU has also started Dansimprovisatie Amsterdam; place for movement. With regular classes and workshops taught by Iris van Peppen and Marisa Grande.
