Performance group

Would you like to perform in front of an audience and do you have experience in improvisation as a performance art?

Class
In this class we will use all our skills and experience in (contact) improvisation and start to compose instantly. We wil work on partnering, exploration work and group improvisations. We emphasize on how to structure and place movement in time & space.
Because of performances some rehearsals will take place during weekends.

This class is for people with experience in dance improvisation as a performance art. DIU preserves the right to form the group based on applicants' experience. It's recommendable to combine this class with the advanced Release & Hawkins technique.

In the past 5 years DIU has performed with her performance group in a number of festivals and locations. We danced at Cultural Sundays, Buitenkans streettheater festival in Enschede, in café's, monumental buildings, on the street, in parks and living rooms. The performances are created with musicians and have a wide range of structures. From open to choreography.
